A sober home is a sober, safe, and healthy living environment that promotes recovery from alcohol and drug use. When alcoholics/addicts leave inpatient facilities, they can face difficulty transitioning back to daily life. Sober homes operate as a bridge between treatment facilities and the “real world.”

The process is simple. While in treatment, your case manager will contact Mark Culpo to schedule a phone interview. You will work with your case manager for the next steps dependent on bed availability and interview feedback. If you are not in treatment, you can contact us through the website or by calling the phone number provided.
This is handled on a case by case basis. We will not accept new residents if you have been convicted of arson, you are a registered sex offender and/or have a history of violent convictions.
The weekly rent is $225. On your move-in day, a first and last weeks rent is required ($450).
We do not mandate our residents to attend AA/NA meetings, but, we strongly encourage them to join a fellowship and work a program of recovery.
In general, individuals may stay in sober living homes as long as they want to if they continue to follow the house rules. Sober living homes are often the last transition before returning home, and staying in residence for a longer period of time may improve the foundation for long-term recovery.
Yes. You are permitted overnights (max 2 per week) after a 10-14 day probationary period.
Yes. Visitors are welcome at the home. Visitors are permitted in common areas only (kitchen, living room and patios). Guests are not permitted to enter any resident bedrooms.
Yes. We want to see our residents either working, volunteering or attending further outpatient treatment.
Yes. Both Royal Sober Homes have a manager that resides in the home.
Yes. The house manager will administer drug tests and breathalyzers on a weekly and random basis.
Yes. Residents are permitted to bring their medication and administer on their own.
Yes. We believe that individuals should exercise every option available to help maintain sobriety.
Yes. Royal Sober Homes are MASH certified.
